Kuća Velebita is a visitor and information center for Northern Velebit National Park. It sits in the village of Krasno, one of Croatia’s largest mountain settlements.

A distinctive, modern, and engaging attraction, it presents the natural and cultural values of the nature park all year round.

The brief for this project was to present educational content about life on the mountain - rich in flora and fauna - through innovative, educational multimedia technology.

Through holograms, wall and floor projections, video walls, sound, and touch-interactive exhibits, the center is a seamless integration of the natural setting and advanced technology.

The mysterious, hard-to-reach underground world of Velebit is now something every visitor can experience. Kuća Velebita takes you on a journey through the fascinating world of Northern Velebit. Interactive exhibits reveal the climate, geology, rich biodiversity, and cultural heritage of this unique region. Special emphasis is placed on Velebit’s remarkable caves - their formation and the challenges of exploring the underground - and visitors can meet rare subterranean creatures. An unforgettable highlight is a virtual descent into a cave via a specially designed “lift”.

The Nikola Tesla Experience Center is a unique center dedicated to the genius of electricity. This education-and-tourism complex in Karlovac spans 700 m² across three floors - a place where technology meets vision.

Among its most striking exhibits is a 10 m statue - Tesla the superhero - with a Tesla coil built into its finger that visitors can touch to feel the magic of electricity. Levitating tablets add another layer of wonder.

Through live-action and animated films, interactive logic games, and multimedia content, visitors explore Tesla’s childhood, his upbringing and schooling in Karlovac, and get to know the man behind the myth - his fears, passions, and “superpowers”.

The experience is completed by an original score from renowned musician Ante Gela - from lightning effects and energetic music to distinctive melodies composed especially for the NTEC.

In the northern part of Kopački Rit Nature Park stands the new Tikveš Presentation and Education Center - a one-of-a-kind multimedia and interactive exhibition that brings the park’s most important features and natural phenomena closer to its visitors.

It is a place for exploration and learning, but also for uncovering all the secrets of the park and discovering its rich cultural and historical heritage with the help of state-of-the-art technology.

The exhibition is built on innovative multimedia technology - augmented and virtual reality, holographic projections of fauna, video walls, mapping projections, touch-sensitive LCD screens, and photo booths. A highlight is the White-Bearded Figure exhibit - a willow that interactively communicates with visitors.

High-quality multimedia content raises the presentation to the highest level and adds real value to this exceptionally complex project.

The St. James’ Cathedral Interpretation Center “Civitas Sacra - Sveti grad” occupies the Galbiani Palace in the old town of Šibenik. Its permanent exhibition spans three floors and includes, among other things, objects from the rich historical, ecclesiastical, and cultural heritage of the Šibenik region.

The Galbiani Palace houses a gallery, a multimedia hall, a gift shop, and a restaurant with a terrace. The permanent exhibition is enriched with interactive content that presents the history of Šibenik’s cathedral in an innovative way.

Beyond the modern interpretation methods already seen in presentation centers, we are especially proud of the baptistery exhibit. Through a specially built mechanism, activating the water triggers a mapped ceiling projection that draws a dynamic image of an angel. In the same way, we created the exhibit that carves names into a stone monolith and scans faces in stone.

It is precisely our clients’ complex demands that inspire us to create extraordinary solutions. On this project, our creative and technical team turned challenging specifications into a fascinating multifunctional exhibit, seamlessly combining mechanics, robotics, and advanced software.

For IKEA in Zagreb we designed, installed, and configured a digital signage system across the whole store. It began in the restaurant and the Swedish bistro, and the same solution now covers the retail floor as well, so the screens follow the customer from the entrance to the checkout.

The system is built on professional NEC MultiSync Large Format Displays in 43 and 55 inch sizes, rated for continuous operation in demanding conditions. The screens are mounted in both landscape and portrait orientation, adapted to each position, from menu boards above the serving line to promotional placements beside the displayed products.

Content playback at every location runs on BrightSign XD235 Enterprise 4K players, managed centrally through the BSN.cloud platform. The same workflow applies across the entire store: menus, prices, and promotional material are updated from a single place, in every zone at once, with no need to touch the screens themselves.

The delivery covered system configuration, screen installation, and staff training for managing content independently. The solution is stable and scalable, and new screens can be added without changing the way it is run.

For Nova TV we designed and integrated a new multifunctional studio (September 2022), in collaboration with Omnivor. It spans 600 m² and is conceived as an advanced space built for maximum production flexibility.

The studio is equipped with 4K technology, an advanced LED lighting system, and a series of video walls that deliver a crystal clear picture and visual dynamism in every format.

At its centre are two curved Leyard LED video walls with a fine 1.5 mm pixel pitch, measuring 14 x 7 metres, which form the backdrop behind the anchor desk.

A flat 7 x 7 metre LED screen is used for the weather forecast, while the coworking zone adds two more video walls (23 x 3 m and 18 x 3 m) that provide an adaptable, striking set for different content.

A standout feature is the innovative 360° rotating anchor desk, which allows complete creative freedom of framing and directing from every angle.

MVP - Most Valuable Production is a regional live sports broadcast specialist. Founded in 2015, the company today operates four outside broadcast units and produces live sports content for clients across Europe. We supplied and integrated a Calrec Argo M audio console into their flagship HD1 truck, as Calrec’s representative for the Croatian market.

The Argo M carries 36 faders and internal DSP, and occupies the same space as the console it replaced. In an OB truck that is decisive: the footprint is fixed and cannot grow, so any gain in capacity has to happen within the existing dimensions. HD1 works with 17 cameras and can be expanded.

The console change is part of MVP’s wider move to IP-ready workflows. The aim was to standardise audio across the whole fleet, so that a crew works the same way in every truck and the same setup can be applied to different kinds of production, including remote and distributed setups.

We handled delivery, integration and commissioning together with Calrec. Beyond fitting the console into the truck, that meant tying it into the existing equipment, configuring the workflows, and supporting the crew before, during and after the installation.

The truck went on air with the new console within days of installation, covering a match at one of Europe’s most prestigious football tournaments. There was no settling-in period and no adjustment to the working schedule - the console was in full operation immediately.

RTL Hrvatska is the first television broadcaster in Croatia to move its main studio to robotic production. We supplied and installed the system in July 2026, as the representative of Shotoku Broadcast Systems for the Croatian market.

The system is built around Shotoku SmartPed robotic pedestals. These are self-driving camera pedestals that move around the studio on their own, with no track and no operator behind the camera, finding and repeating preset positions with millimetre precision. They carry Shotoku robotic heads that take over pan, tilt, zoom, and focus.

In daily use this changes how the studio is run. Shots are prepared in advance and recalled with a single click, so a scene change takes only as long as pressing a button. Complex moves are executed identically every time, with no drift between broadcasts, which considerably reduces the room for error in a live programme. The system performs just as reliably across a full day of programming.

Automation does not remove the operator. Manual control can be taken over at any moment and the camera driven in the traditional way, so robotics are used where they bring an advantage while manual operation remains available whenever production calls for it.

The same technology is used in the studios of leading broadcasters worldwide, among them NHK in Japan, NRK in Norway, SRF in Switzerland, the BBC and Sky News in the United Kingdom, and CNBC in the United States. With this delivery, the main RTL Hrvatska studio now operates to the same standard.

Nova TV runs its programming on a large number of devices and systems from different manufacturers, each arriving with its own monitoring tool. In practice that means operators watch several separate interfaces, and a single fault can surface in several places at once without a clear picture of where the real cause lies.

For Nova TV we introduced the DataMiner platform from Skyline Communications as a common monitoring layer above the existing infrastructure. DataMiner does not replace the existing systems: it connects to them and gathers their status in one place.

Two key subsystems were brought in first. Miranda iControl, the monitoring and control environment covering Densité modular frames and processing cards, and Harmonic, with its Spectrum X video servers and their management layer. Each is connected through a dedicated connector, so devices and services from both vendors are now followed side by side, in the same interface and under the same logic.

Beyond monitoring itself, the system brings event correlation, automation, and the ability to build dashboards and simple applications. Instead of two parallel alarm lists there is one cause with its related effects, routine responses can be scripted, and the views are arranged around how each team actually works.

The delivery covered installation, configuration, and integration with existing workflows. The solution is scalable: new devices and systems are added as connectors, without changing the way operators work.

For the control rooms of Studios 9 and 10 we designed and integrated a complete video monitoring and signal routing system, tied into the existing studio equipment: cameras, the vision mixer, character generators, and playout systems.

At its core is a modular 3G/HD/SD SDI matrix with integrated audio routing, expandable to 288 inputs and outputs and handling embedded, discrete, AES, MADI, and analogue audio. Alongside it we installed a redundant reference signal generator group with GPS synchronisation and automatic changeover.

A multiviewer integrated with the matrix displays SD, HD, and 3G sources simultaneously, each showing its source name, tally, and audio level meters. The display spans six monitor walls with 38 professional LCD screens, mounted on custom support structures with individual tilt adjustment.

The whole system is driven by a redundant control system with hardware and software panels and a link to the existing Kahuna vision mixer, with monitoring, diagnostics, and alarms over SNMP. It is engineered for continuous 24/7 operation, with dual power supplies and hot redundancy on every critical component.

For Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) we upgraded the automated program playout system that we had originally installed back in 2012. This time the task was to replace all of the hardware while keeping the existing software and the Morpheus licences owned by the client, delivered turnkey and without interrupting daily broadcasting.

We supplied and integrated a new video server subsystem with central storage for the playout of six television channels. Every program output has a frame accurate mirror on a physically separate backup server, with dedicated servers for ingest and content review. The central storage was built in a redundant architecture with no single point of failure and a capacity of over 240 TB.

The Grass Valley Morpheus automation itself was renewed across its client, server, and control layers with full N+N redundancy. The control layer can keep broadcasting autonomously from the last playlist for up to five hours if the network is lost entirely. It drives the existing Grass Valley Trinix router, master mixers, and a range of broadcast devices, and connects to the existing Partis scheduling system.

We installed around 30 workstations with dual monitors across the daily program control rooms, master control, and content preparation areas, all housed in three new equipment racks in the master control room. The work was carried out with production running 24/7 throughout, followed by technical testing, a trial period, and a first year of warranty and maintenance.

For the broadcast of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, we expanded and upgraded the existing tapeless production system of Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT). Because the system brings together subsystems from several manufacturers, the new equipment had to stay compatible with all of them and fit into existing workflows without interrupting 24/7 production.

At the heart of the production we installed three Grass Valley K2 Summit 3G production servers with a K2 Dyno replay controller. They provide slow motion replay (2x and 3x super slow motion), key and fill, and multicam recording and playback, all essential for live sports coverage.

We also upgraded the transcoding and format adaptation chain built on Telestream Vantage and the Vidchecker automated quality control tools. Storage was expanded with two Quantum H4000 systems (192 TB each) and fifteen Blackmagic DeckLink 4K capture cards.

We raised the network infrastructure to 10, 40, and 100 gigabit links with new switches and optical connections between the master control, VTR control, and edit suites. The full delivery covered installation, building the workflows and a format adaptation application, and commissioning with functional testing and handover.

The Basilica of St. Anthony of Padua at Sveti Duh in Zagreb wanted to make its services available to those unable to attend in person. We designed and delivered a complete live broadcast system for them, built to serve social media streaming, radio transmission, and television broadcast alike, including the Laudato TV programme.

We installed four PTZ cameras covering the altar, the ambo, and the nave. They are fitted on wall and ceiling mounts, positioned so that they are as unobtrusive as possible. They are operated from a single controller, which means that during the liturgy there is no camera operator and no equipment in the space to draw attention.

The most delicate part of the job was the installation itself. In a place of worship every visible cable spoils the impression, so the video and network cable runs were routed to be as unobtrusive as possible, following the existing lines of the architecture.

At the heart of the system is a production workstation running live production and streaming software. All camera signals are fed into it through capture cards, so a single operator can switch shots live, add graphics and titles, and send the stream to several destinations at once. Everything connects through a network switch that also powers the cameras, which kept the amount of cabling down.

Audio is taken directly from the church’s existing sound system. An audio interface and galvanic isolation separate the signal from the PA and bring it into the production clean and free of noise, so the microphones at the altar, the ambo, and the choir come through clearly on the stream.

Alongside internet streaming, the system includes a unit for wireless transmission over mobile networks. It allows broadcast quality signal to be sent to television even where there is no dedicated fixed line, so the basilica can join a television programme live for major feasts and celebrations.

Finally, we installed four LED fixtures with adjustable colour temperature. They light the altar area sufficiently for the cameras without harsh light and without altering the atmosphere of the space. The whole system was designed so the basilica can run it independently, after brief training and with no need for permanent technical support.

Beyond designing and integrating systems, in collaboration with our partners Schulze & Brakel and Foam Conversion, we offer custom microphone foams (windscreens), fully tailored to the client. Each foam can carry the client’s logo, colours, or design, turning the microphone into a recognisable part of their visual identity on screen.

The customisation options are almost limitless: any colour, shape, and size, one or more prints per foam, and production for every microphone model and manufacturer. Our foams already carry the colours of numerous television channels, sports and news programmes, and radio stations.
